Tree Growing and Sourcing
Shakti leverages an extensive knowledge and deep-rooted network to secure the right trees at the right time. We have strong ties to various nurseries across Western Canada, and are well-versed in seed collection and sourcing, and growing from cuttings, seeds or clones – as well as seed registration and storage.
We work with FMA holders, nurseries, logistics, suppliers and other stakeholders to bring you the best trees at extremely reasonable rates, right up until the last minute. From local pine and spruce to specialized shrubs and conifers, we are in the business of growing, sourcing, delivering and planting trees.
Seedling Supply
Shakti is dedicated to ensuring our seedling supply meets the needs of our current and future clients. Every year, we invest in growing large stores of seedlings in populate seed zones that we anticipate will require a great amount of seedlings for reclamation. These seedlings, which we grow on spec, are best suited for our returning clients, as well as clients who are new to reclamation tree planting. Our rates are not just competitive, we can provide highly flexible and last minute orders from many years of experience accommodating our clients needs.
