As an accomplished business leader with an MBA in Finance, she brings valuable corporate insight and sustainable program management expertise to complement our team’s technical knowledge. Irene’s extensive background in change management and project leadership is instrumental in shaping Shakti through TELUS’s strategic direction and operational excellence.

With over 20 years in the reforestation industry and more than 3 million trees planted, Ron brings exceptional operational expertise to our organization. His engineering and permaculture background and extensive project management experience across Western Canada and internationally drive our operational excellence. Ron excels at developing efficient solutions that deliver superior client results while ensuring stable and sustainable company operations.

Brant has been essential to Shakti by TELUS since 2018, bringing sustainable land management expertise. As a key leader, he demonstrates unwavering dedication to operational excellence and safety. Brant oversees our team’s all-terrain vehicle certification, contributes to operational planning and is our forest management authority. His meticulous attention and commitment to environmental stewardship are invaluable.

Safety first
At Shakti by TELUS, safety is paramount in all our operations. We maintain certifications with Alberta Partners in Injury Reduction and SAFE and hold ISNetworld.com, Comply Works, and Avetta memberships.
Our energy sector crews undergo comprehensive training, including Petroleum Safety Training (PST), Standard First Aid, CPR, H2S Alive, WHMIS, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, and Bear Safety. We’re proud to be COR-certified in Partners in Injury Reduction (PIR) and BC Forest Safe programs.
We carry $5 million in commercial liability coverage, which can be adjusted to meet specific client requirements.
